LLC Setup Service

A Note About LLC Formation

Unlike many of the non-lawyer services online, we do not charge separately a standalone "LLC formation service" that consists solely of filing a simple form with the appropriate state agencies. If needed, that service is included in our LLC setup service at no additional charge.

Each LLC that we form includes all of the documents needed to properly set up the LLC to maximize planning opportunities, including a valid operating agreement, and organizational resolution, and related documents.

This intake interview collects the information needed to provide a fee quote to properly set up an LLC that maximize liability protection helps you reach your specific business goals. Fill out the information below for details about what is included in our LLC setup service and get an instant fee quote.

LLC Domestication Analyzer

Need to move your LLC to a new state?

LLC domestication (also called LLC conversion) is a streamlined legal process for moving an LLC from one state to another. There are several reasons to move an LLC to a new state:

  • Moving the Business with the Owners. Business owners that move to a new state often want to establish a firm connection with a new home state.
  • Simplifying Compliance. LLCs that are governed by the law of the state where the owners live often have fewer filing requirements than LLCs that are governed by the laws of another state.
  • Saving Taxes. Each state has its own tax laws. An LLC’s tax obligations often depend on whether the LLC has a connection—called a nexus—with the state. Moving the LLC to a new state can break this nexus, exempting the LLC from tax obligations in the state where it was originally formed.
  • Better Choice of Law. If the new state's LLC laws are a better fit for the LLC’s business objectives than the laws of the state where the LLC was originally formed, changing the state law can have legal advantages.
  • Fostering Better Professional Relationships. Domesticating an LLC to the state where the owners live makes it easier to find lawyers, accountants, and other professionals in the community who are familiar with local requirements and conventions.

LLC domestication is only available if it is permitted by the laws of both the state that the LLC is moving from and the state that the LLC is moving to. This tool can help you determine whether each state allows LLC domestication and, if so, provide a no-obligation fee quote.
